Quality Assurance

The topic of quality assurance has become one of the main axes within the framework of recent educational reforms, and the concept of quality has become one of the new concepts in contemporary educational terminology. However, the understanding of quality and the possible ways and tools to ensure it in education differ from one place to another. Various structures and institutions within the educational system can be named that are set to guarantee quality. Quality assurance consists of all planned and systematic actions, for example: knowledge, strategies, procedures, activities... etc., which provide the appropriate and necessary confidence that quality will be maintained and enhanced, and that products and services will comply with specified quality standards. At the Rand Institute, quality consists of the set of systems, resources, and information dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality and standards of the teaching staff, administrative staff, teaching methods, and research, as well as the students' learning experience.
